Our members provide professional services to pet owners.  They have all signed up to a demanding Code of Practice carefully designed to protect their clients so you can trust them to fulfil their responsibities fairly and to high standards.  However, almost everyone who who provides pet care services is dedicated to animals - that is why they took their career decision in the first place but when you ask one of them to care for your pet that Code of Practice also provides an enforcably legal contract between you.

National Register of Dog Trainers and Behaviourists
 
Finding someone to help you train your dog or a canine behaviourist for more complicated problems has always been difficult.  There are thousands of websites with hundreds of dog trainers at all levels of experience each saying they have the answers to your particular behaviour problem. How do you choose?

Members of the National Register of Dog Trainers and Behaviourists set out their experience, knowledge and expertise in canine behaviour, indicating their specialisms which allow you to make up your own mind as to whether they will suit your particular circumstances.

All members of the community are professionals and they have signed up to the Code of Best Practice which was agreed in a series of meetings hosted by the Companion Animal Welfare Council. (You can read the code by clicking on the 'Links' tab in the left hand column of the Home Page).
National Register of Groomers
 
There is no doubt that we all love to see our dog (or cat or rabbit) looking its best  But how  do you find a really good and experienced groomer? It can be difficult to choose.Every dog is different as is every owner- so many dogs, even though their coats may look the same, are likely to be unique and need expert care - and you will want a groomer to present your dog beautifully, providing the same level of service you expect from your own hairdresser. 
 
The Natuonal Register of Groomers provides you with the information you need to find a suitable groomer with whom you and you dog can build a personal relationship - someone you can turn to for general advice about your dog too.

No one likes to leave their dog/s or cat/s behind when they are away but how do you find a really caring and experienced kennel or cattery? It can be difficult to choose. Every dog and cat is different - as is every owner - so you will want your pet/s to be with people who will care for them and provide the level of service and expert care you expect from your hotel when you are on holiday or away on business. 
 
The National Register of Boarding Kennels and Catteries provides you with the information you need to find a suitable home from home with whom you and your pet/s can build a personal relationship - and experts to whom you can turn to for general advice about your dog too.
